USE* Publications have recently supported introduction of a new Quick Guide to support a customer’s current Owner Handbook format.

USE* Publiocations were recently asked to support on of our customer’s delivery of a new Owner Handbook supplemet called a Quick Guide.

The Quick Guides take the format of a fold-out map style leaflet, with a maximum of 20 pages.

Its content was discussed at high level, and it was agreed that it would cover any new technologies fitted to a vehicle, as well as a basic level of information that the new car owner would require to help them get started.

When the team received this task, the time frame to publish the first deliverables was extremely tight. Given that translation, printing and distribution has a fixed time of seven weeks, the team was left with only three weeks to complete the first batch. Even so, by careful management, clear delineation of the customer requirements, and good communication throughout the project, this goal was met.
