USE* IT has released an extension to SRTD-Portal called Online-RTS (Online Repair Time Searcher). This new tool will speed up warranty claims processes by enabling dealers to quickly find up-to-date repair times information.

SRTD Portal (Service Repair Time Database), allows efficient authoring of Service Repair Procedures for workshop manual publications, and collates and structures this information as labour time and workshop manual information.

Online-RTS includes direct linking to the actual service repair operation authored in SRTD, and there is also additional information provided in Online-RTS for procedures authored in SRTD such as Is used On and Included Studies. Online-RTS eliminates the need to distribute CDs worldwide, and features both tree navigation and a search engine. But also, because these functions are delivered client-side and not server-side, Online-RTS can still be used in any web browser from a CD/DVD or from a USB-memory stick, including the built-in search.
