USE* Engineers complete TCe training

17/8/2009

Eight USE* engineers have completed extensive training in TeamCenter and Catia CADPDM systems.

The ability to work side by side with a customer is a key attribute of USE* methodology. An essential part of this is having a high level of competence with CAD (Computer Aided Design), PDM (Product Data Management) and CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) tools commonly deployed in the automotive sector.

Accordingly, a team of eight USE* Engineers recently completed training relating to both Catia V5 and TeamCenter Engineering.

This training allows USE* engineers to resolve CAD data issues delivering significant efficiency savings during the SERP study process. It also allows the SERP team to effectively create, publish and manage service CAD geometry to the PDM database for use by the engineering programme teams.
