USE* deliver a New Working Paradigm for Workshop Manual Creation

2/3/2009

USE* workshop manual services are now supported by comprehensive metrics that will deliver unprecedented accountability for their services and the status of workshop manual deliverables for USE* clients. This aspect of USE* methodology reflects the way USE* work elsewhere with purchased services.

The data, collated on a monthly basis, shows how much time is being spent by each author creating workshop manual procedures, and will drive metrics for project statuses. It also feeds directly into a resource planning toolset, so that work requirements for forthcoming projects will be transparent. If average times are higher than predicted, extra resources can be scheduled early enough in advance so as not to jeopardise the delivery of the project.

The metrics also track time spent on other activities, such as liaising with Product Development, carrying out trials on vehicles or even the time spent resolving IT issues. Alongside weekly status meetings, this information will provide our clients with complete transparency of their spending and project statuses. Having this required information available at a glance will confirm to USE* clients that their projects are being effectively and responsibly managed.
