UKSE to support Service Input to Research Projects

20/10/2008

As part of a new product creation role representing service in strategic PD forums, UK Service Evolution will be engaging with the Research department of a prestigious automotive OEM client to support service and ownership aspects of design projects.

This new participation in the client’s product creation arena will formally extend UKSE’s support for the client further upstream into pre-development research projects. Each research project will be assessed for service content and impact and reviewed 1:1 with the project leader. At this very early concept stage, key aspects of projects can be influenced and changes driven to support Service requirements.

Through this involvement with high level product creation, UK Service Evolution will also be managing and defining their client’s first Service led research project. This will deliver a technology supporting future service strategies and will directly improve the ownership experience for the client’s customers.
