UKSE helps Car Maker benchmark Competitors

16/6/2008

UKSE have helped a prestigious household name luxury carmaker launch a comprehensive initiative for benchmarking competitor serviceability strategies.

Working with a prestigious automotive OEM, UK Service Evolution engineers have devised and implemented a process to benchmark Design for Service strategies on our client’s competitor vehicles, and to allow the information to be shared easily and quickly by various of our client’s activities. By using the results, which include the pros and cons of each benchmarked vehicle’s components and package design, the team can then derive a list of design ideas which could be adapted, improved and implemented into the latest client designs.

The team has benchmarked a wide range of cars already, and is looking on track to beat their target of five cars per quarter.
